First and foremost, thank you for visiting my blog.

My name is Yance Childs, I am a former athlete turned strength and performance coach, and owner of Moving Iron Gym in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The sole purpose of this blog is to educate, motivate, and inspire.

I want to be able to share with you some of the struggles I have endured over the years both in and out of the gym and how theses struggles have made me a stronger person.

I think true strength is more than just the weight on the bar and I hope to be able to provide some assistance, so that you too can become stronger, mentally and physically.




In order for us to truly become the best we can, we need to work on a daily basis of being stronger every day, not just physically, but physiologically and psychologically as well.
